To accommodate a wide range of Cabrillo logging programs, the log checking software (robot) will also accept logs in a second format that includes sent and received “exchanges”. The exchanges are nominally Parks Canada administrative unit identifiers or ‘——‘ but can actually be anything because they will be ignored by the log checking software (robot).

These templates are provided for your convenience, should they be needed by your logging software.  However, the log checking software (“robot”) is very flexible and does not require the fields to be in any specific columns.  The only requirement is that the 9 or 11 fields be provided in the correct order and be separated by one or more spaces or tabs.
